Personal Work

ABOUT

I include this personal section with the intention to share a little more about what is meaningful and inspiring to me

I have found that my lifelong interest in creating artwork has informed my design process. In my professional work, I am able to better visualize final concepts, apply realistic color theory, and accurately depict proportionality.

With 8 years of experience using Procreate, I have developed a digital style that translates well to both artwork and product renders.

Depending on the look I want to achieve, I can create clean, polished linework or full-color renders with a "painterly" quality that sets my work apart.

Sketching quickly and with proportional accuracy facilitates my rapid ideation process and helps me convey my ideas to others.

After years spent studying art principles like light, shade, and color, I recognize that those skills apply to product design too. In understanding the properties of three-dimensional space, I can visualize how objects will look in different environments.

Machine-sewing and embroidery have been important creative outlets for me since I began sewing at 8 years old. In my free time, I always have an ongoing handicraft to occupy me. I never have idle hands.

Familiarity with industrial sewing machines also makes me a versatile designer, since I can work with hard and soft goods.
